Photo – Red Kuri Kabocha or Winter Squash or Pumpkin – all names for the same thing depending on your predilection. A wonderful Japanese origin variety of small pumpkin flavoured naturally with hints of hazelnut and a little spice. And you only need one pumpkin to create a forest of them. Mid winter is the time to start collecting your seeds around you, germinating and getting the little seedlings going in your warm sunny protected areas… possibly in your house… like some of our members.
It’s that time again!
This is just a quick reminder that the next scheduled meeting for the year of the Mid Blue Mountains SeedSavers is on at the Bullaburra Progress Hall this next coming weekend.
Sunday 25 August 2019 from 10 am till Midday
Help celebrate the Blue Mountains Winter.
