We have a working bee coming up next weekend at the Bullaburra Progress Association Hall on Sunday 7 May 2023 from 10am till 2pm.
This working bee will include people from all of the local social and community groups who use the Hall. The intent is to clean up the surrounds of the hall and have some discussion about ongoing maintenance and what needs to be done to keep the hall functional and useful for all the groups who use the hall.
We will have some tools and yard bags available so please drop by and participate if you can.
The outdoor spaces that need attention and some care especially are the boundary areas that have have bushes and trees that have been neglected for some time and become a ‘little over grown’.
Also some of the exterior walls need a new coat of paint. We will have paint, brushes and rollers for those tasks as well.
The Progress committee has been thinking and talking about the possibility of opening up the hall surrounds for use as a small market space again as it has in the past – and would also love any input about this.
Bring your favourite gloves and sunny disposition! see you there on Sunday.
We’ll be at the working bee at around midday
