SeedSavers Meeting – December 6 2020

Photo – Chrysanthemum coronarium – syn Glebionis coronaria – Shungiku is an aromatic leafy herb plant sometimes commonly called ‘chop suey greens‘ that is fairly easy to grow and to save seeds from. It’s a great late spring and early summer addition to the table. Although widely grown and eaten in Chinese, Korean and Japanese dishes – interestingly it’s also used in a wide variety of other international cuisines. It has typical cheerful bright yellow Aster or daisy style flower and makes for a pleasing display in your garden regardless of whether you decide to eat it or not.

It’s that time again!
This is just a quick reminder that the next scheduled meeting for the year of the Mid Blue Mountains SeedSavers is on at the Bullaburra Progress Hall  this coming weekend.
