National Australian Seed Savers quarterly Zoom meetup

Please join us for the next quarterly Zoom to connect with other Australian Seed Savers from seed saving groups and seed libraries across Australia.

In this very special live video session, Jude and Michel Fanton from the Seed Savers Network, based in Byron Bay, will give a presentation about their inspiring seed saving journey. There will be a live chat running along with the video and a moderated opportunity for questions and answers after the presentation.

Jude and Michel will be talking about their own experiences with seed saving and some of their current interests and gardening obsessions. They have been spreading the word about seed saving in Australia for many years and also published the still very popular Australian Seed Saving manual.

These Zoom meetups allow us to connect with others in Australia with a common interest and allow for a direct exchange of ideas about running seed saving groups and the practicalities of growing plants and saving seeds. There is no obligation to interact but it gives everyone the chance to have a say and

You will need to register for the session and then the connection link will be provided. This can be done right up to the session start time but it’s better if you can preregister before time.

All Seed Savers, experienced or just starting out, are welcome to join the conversation.

We will be running to time and start at 5pm and as with previous zooms, we’ll start with a half hour of discussion time for participants to raise questions and topics of interest and share knowledge and experiences. (And to allow for the late ‘stragglers’ and people new to using Zoom to connect or fix technical issues.)

The quarterly seed saving zoom sessions aim to connect Australian seed saving groups and individuals across the country so that support and resources can be shared. To protect and improve our abundant heritage of food, seeds and plants we see a strong network as critical to support our needs in each location.

Zoom is free software to download and use and easy to install and connect with. You just need to sign up for free and download and install the software. You can find details on their website.
