Meetings are held at the Bullaburra Progress Hall, located at Bullaburra Park on the corner of The Great Western Highway and Noble Street Bullaburra NSW 2784.
This year we have added a few extra meetings into the schedule to allow for better timing for various harvesting and collecting times of seed in our area.

We will also likely run a special Seed Saving workshop early in the year – however this date has also not been confirmed yet.

I noticed that the meetings in June n Sep are on the 3rd Sunday and wonder if that’s intentional?

Hi – theses dates are pretty much random based around previous years meetings, seasonal events and avoiding public holidays and fitting in with the other groups who use the Bullaburra hall regularly. We have had issues in some years where we had meetings scheduled for almost every long weekend and public event in the mountains such as the various garden festivals, mothers day, fathers day, easter, Queens birthday etc so we are usually just happy when those don’t coincide. Originally the meetings were only 4 times a year and based on the seasons roughly. Now as we add more meetings to the schedule and try to fit in better with the local seasons for collecting seeds and classic expected weather events such as the regular heavy rainfall in February we are just hoping to create a meeting schedule that can work for as many people as possible. Some meetings are possibly adjustable if there are any you think will create issues for people to attend and we can rearrange them with the Bullaburra Hall Committee.
